Investiture Ceremony for Dr. Stephen Schexnayder will be held Wednesday Jan. 6


On Wednesday, Jan. 6, ACH and UAMS will install Stephen M. Schexnayder, MD, as holder of the Mr. and Mrs. Morris Oakley Endowed Chair in Critical Care Medicine. The chair will be conferred in a formal investiture ceremony with remarks from hospital officials, colleagues and mentors of Dr. Schexnayder.

The investiture, or installation ceremony, will be at 4 p.m. in Chairman’s Hall on the ACH campus.

Dr. Schexnayder is chief of critical care medicine at ACH and professor of pediatrics and internal medicine in the department of pediatrics at the UAMS College of Medicine.
