The Department of Pediatrics at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences provides exceptional children’s patient care, education and research. Our mission is to spread and promote medical knowledge appropriate to the future of the field of pediatrics through a balanced emphasis on education, research, and health care. Through our partnership with Arkansas Children's Hospital, our services include pediatric training, clinical assessment, diagnosis and treatment of acute and chronic disorders, and cutting-edge research on techniques to enhance a child’s home and medical environment.
