The Center for Excellence in Leadership will support leadership skill development for faculty from all appointment tracks and ranks, providing faculty with opportunities to collaboratively explore leadership from various perspectives and levels, as well as encouraging faculty to explore their own leadership potential.
Mission and activities include
1) An annual series of leadership seminars aimed at developing leadership competencies in faculty and/or ways to prepare for and seek leadership roles
2) An annual opportunity for faculty to assess leadership style, leadership strengths and/or skill development (Birkman, StrengthFinders)
3) Opportunities for individual mentoring in leadership goals
