The UAMS program features a great mixture of in-state and out-of-state faculty from a range of backgrounds, creating a pool of diverse professional and personal experiences from which to draw.
The faculty contribute greatly to the learning environment and educational experiences provided at both UAMS and ACH. Our Emergency Department, Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit, Pediatric Intensive Care Unit and Intensive Care Nurseries are attended 24 hours a day by in-house faculty. Other on-service faculty members are accessible around the clock for consultation on specific patient problems.
